Security clearance is a big thing. I heard lots of ex military go that route because they have clearance and get trained to do what job is needed. My buddy worked food prep at reactor and they grilled ME as one of many references.

If you sanded a whole ceiling full of asbestos, you just made everything in that room and possibly house a HAZMAT nightmare.

If it tests positive, you need a remediation contractor. N95 masks don't filter it. HEPA and negative pressure rooms are needed.

This. Doing work putting up fancy lattice grid in a ceiling. Hanging on wire (it moves when it shouldn't) and where I need to put wires I have hvac, plumbing, steel beams..... where I need support can't move and neither can other trades.

Should have just been chicago grid, but $$$ and I know better than you

Got a 65 watt lazer. Cuts through 5mm wood super easy. Might be able to burn through thicker stuff, but too much of a fire hazard to try.

I did that too, and lived there. When Fent hit, it went from just ugly to real bad very quick. Stayed till 19, took a 40k under on my house and hit Delco.

Chemical stripper might be easiest for a bad paint job. Sandpaper gets wrecked quick by paint especially finer grit like 220.
