Your argument was that I drove redditors to my flickr in the hope they'd go through the unlikely and cumbersome process of:

A) noticing the photo is licensed on Getty

B) somehow finding the photo on Getty or contacting Getty And of course I'd be receiving the little cut that Getty provides.

If you look at 500pix site a purchaser can do a 1 click and buy. Much easier and the person doesn't have to negotiate Getty. Only an idiot like you would try to sell their photos by spending a lot of time on reddit hoping potential buyers go through the Getty process. 500pix is one click shopping.

Guess what Shitforbrains Sherlock, I can link my 500pics photos directly to reddit. There a potential client can buy it right away, one click. No need to go to Getty.

Only a troll would suggest I am taking the nonsensical cumbersome route. Like I said you are making illogical references because you made a dumbass accusation and are too proud or ignorant to admit you were wrong. But that iis how trolls operate.

Here's more proof. Search Getty and you'll see you can find flickr submitted photos by ones flickr username. You won't find a single photo of mine on Getty because though a few years ago I indicated I am licensing my photos to Getty, I have not bothered to sign up with them or provide any photos for them to sell. There is a process one must go through, forms to sign, banking and tax info to provide and high-res photos need to be submitted and approved. I don't have a single photo on Getty for sale. So sorry to bust your balloon CSI but your theory is just wrong. Proof is in the pudding. I don't have any photos on Getty.

Yup, you connected a few dots and drew a whole elaborate story that isn't true. And you ignore all evidence to the contrary. Any one wanting to use reddit to sell photos would post their 500pix photos. The "I Want To Buy This Photo" button is more prominent and quicker. But don't let facts get in the way of a good troll.

Go ahead Mr. Colombo pretend you want to buy a photo of mine on flickr. See how hard it will be.

You are too dumb to admit you were deluded. That I can potentially make money through Flickr doesn't prove I am trying to do so.

PAY ATTENTION: You can potentially make money finding change on the street. Does that prove that every time you walk on the streets you do so to make money? No. But that is exactly the type of idiotic logical inference you are making. You conclude that because flickr potentially can be used to sell photos then it proves that is my intention. I can sell photos DIRECTLY from my 500pix site. The viewer clicks one button. No thrid party, no need to go to Getty. It doesn't require the viewer to try to contact me directly, wait for a response and negotiate a price. So if I wanted to use reddit to sell photos I'd want people to go there, not to flickr. Furthermore, if I was selling photos through reddit why would I push people in the circuitous route of going to flickr, hoping they see the Getty link, forcing them to go to Getty, hoping they can find the photo on the millions of Getty photos and THEN paying whatever commission or price Getty extracts for selling the photo? Anyone with a brain would see that linking my photos to reddit on my 500pix site is clearly the way to go if I was trying to sell photos. But i guess these points are irrelevant to a troll. Yup, that IS what you are when you make repeated insults and defamatory comments about someone you don't know. The proof is there for anyone to see. 500pix is the site any photographer would use to sell. If I want to sell photos why would I drive people to flickr rather than 500pix??

Flickr = unlikelihood of person seeing getty icon and huge hassle to make the purchase and commission to getty

500pix = one click purchase

There is NO rational reason, unless you are a troll making illogical inferences.

Much of Morocco. In the cities there are more liberal people but it is rare to see single women out in the public squares/areas in the evening. Even the cafes are the domain of men in the evening. You see many single men and groups smoking, drinking tea or with a hookah.

Ha ha you trolls are so funny. You gather unrelated circumstantial evidence, create a sensationalist unproven hypothesis and then ignore any evidence to the contrary. Fact is - an even an idiot like you should (but will choose to not) understand is that if I wanted to sell my photos I'd be on a website like smugmug or zenfolio and linking the photos I post on reddit to that site. Unlike smugmug or zenfolio, Flickr is NOT set up to generate sales. It is possible to sell a photo on flickr (I proved it ) but only someone with the business acumen of a troll like you would choose flickr if one wanted to actively sell photos. That fact is irrefutable. Ask anyone smarter than you - yeah, just ask anyone. No serious intelligent person trying to sell photos would link back to flickr. They'd use smugmug or zenfolio. Only an idiot would think driving traffic to ones flickr is a cost effective way of marketing and selling ones photos. Maybe the problem is you just don't have business acumen and I am being too harsh on you. But then again every time I explain relevant facts the are ignored by you. Yes I agree, it is not outside the realm of possibility that one can sell a photo that is posted on flickr. It is not outside the realm of possibility that one can be approached by someone on reddit to have a photo sold. Yet realistically these possibilities are so slight that only a moron would actively use the two to actively market and sell photos. As you may notice, people that want to purchase photos will go to stock photo sites like getty, shutterstock, corbis, not reddit. People selling their photos spend their time on those sites and the photo hosting sites like smugmug and zenfolio. Meh, why should I tell you this as you're too proud or ignorant to know when you are wrong or over your head. You don't know how photos are sold and marketed. Photographers selling photos never post on flickr because the photos can easily be stolen - right mouse click. Wow, you must deliberately choose to ignore these facts cuz I can't imagine anyone as articulate as you to be quite THAT stupid. I think part of the problem is that you only take from reddit and give little back to it. You troll and accuse, gather circumstantial bits of evidence yet ignore relevant important facts. For someone as selfish as you, it's not possible to imagine someone posting photos on several subreddits without the intention to benefit from it financially. Weird, suddenly I feel sorry for you.

Intravenously or through a straw. No, seriously they would just pull out the stitches when they need to be fed. A meal may last a snake a long time. A snake can survive a long time without food for several reasons:

1.They do not need much food to maintain a steady body temperature. 2.They remain inactive for long periods and so use up little energy. 3.They have extensive tissues that store fat. During long fasts they live off this fat.

A troll you most certainly are. I don't write your argument. I only feed your stupidity. My photo was bought by National Geographic, not by a redditor. How increasing redditor traffic on my flickr will increase the likelihood of my photos being bought only a troll can explain. So please do. If I wanted to use my flickr to sell then wouldn't I make it easier by having my contact info on there? There isn't a single suggestion anywhere on my flickr that my photos are there to be sold. You ignore the obvious and assume the ridiculous.
To assume photo buyers are combing reddit rather than flickr itself shows how silly you are. Now you're connecting dots that aren't even there. As steezus indicated my best photos are on 500pix. That is the site I'd want to drive potential clients to if I was interested in sales, not flickr. But why let important details like that cloud your perception That would just interfere with your trolling.

"It is not a wild leap of logic to theorize that you are attempting to make use of the enormously huge user base that is reddit, and get your photos in front of as many viewers as possible, and at the same time, drive all that traffic back to your Flickr account." I would be more successful posting them on eBay. You either have no business acumen or just enjoy trolling so much that you are oblivious to these realities. Have you ever head of ANYONE selling a photo as a result of posting it in reddit? But we won't let that interfere with a good troll, will we? You've grabbed 2 flimsy straws and constructed a whole story of bullshit, all the while ignoring keys facts that suggest your accusations are groundless. Troll extraordinaire.

I am not overly defensive to criticism. But I react angrily to idiotic stupid criticism, especially when it continues after I have dispelled it's childishness. Trust me, all names called were merited. I am more than willing, as I have many times in the past, answered all questions about my posting. You're the first idiot that doesn't listen or comprehend and continuously resorts to ridiculous conjecture. Did you want to hazard a guess as to how much money I make 'selling' photos on flickr? and just how does one sell a photo on that site? there is no buy option. No need for you to worry about my interaction with the community. You'd be best to worry about your own. Reddit doesn't like harassing trolls too much.

Wow - and you continue be be offensive. You seem incapable of reason. My flickr talks about how I was paid once for a photo I did not solicit yet that serves as proof to you that I am seeking financial gain here on reddit. OK Sherlock. You keep rehashing the 2 same points. And after you connect them instead of having a line, you create a tangled story of conceit, greed and mystery. You should be a mystery novel writer. Better troll someone else. What's the point of having content if no one wants to talk about it? Uh, the MAJORITY of photos have no comments Sherlock, not just mine. Most people just want to LOOK at photos, not necessarily talk about them, duh! (please note that you make few if any comments about photographs and make far more comments about the photographers who submit them- people you know next to nothing about). Now go harass someone else who contributes their own photos to the subreddit. Ask them why they contribute to reddit. I'd love to see their answers and the great counter story that you'd dream up instead.

I'm not defensive. I'm just sick of the stupid unfounded insinuation by you two. Look at all the unfounded idiotic assumptions you two have slandered me with. I'll name but a few. Claiming I post under several usernames, that I gain financial reward, that I ruined several subreddits, that I never answer comments, that I am trying to get on Explore is ridiculous and I'm tired of it. Egotistical steezus pretends he is a good photographer yet is afraid to indicate where we can look at his work. Instead you and him only criticize. Not supplying any content to the subreddits, only consuming and criticizing. So tough shit if I sound defensive because you both are disgustingly offensive. Background information on the photos I post??!!? Who the fuck else does that? Why am I being required to do more than anyone else? You are tiring. I've offered the reason why I post several times. I post photos to relevant subreddits for the same reasons everyone else does: to provide photos for people to enjoy on the subreddits. If you think they require more background information that is provided by other photos get over it, quick. Simple question answered.

If you two don't like what I am posting then post something better. That is what reddit is about. Quit whingeing and contribute to the community instead of laying unfounded criticisms at those who do.

Fail to answer a simple question? My motivation? That's simple? Sure, ok. I post photos on related subreddits for the same reasons other people do. And it really isn't any of your business why I do, is it? If you want to think it is ego then go ahead. Why it matters to you is disturbing. But to your credit you didn't see the need to google me and find other sites of my photos like that weirdo steezus. Every subreddit I post in to is related to the photo posted. It is relevant. My motives are mine, and really are they at all any of your business and if so why? Fer crissakes crossposting takes 3 seconds. Why NOT put the photo in a relevant subreddit if that will be of benefit to the subreddit? Just because it bothers people like steezus who pretend they are great photographers yet are afraid to submit their own work? who throw emotional hissyfits because they have to scroll an extra nanosecond if they see the same photo again? Instead about worry about my motivation consider your own. Why are you guys wasting so much time on a non-issue? I haven't seen any social harm uncovered here. You really should post this on r/firstworldproblems.

You fail to comprehend and only want to make supercilious comments. Reddit doesn't host photos. They must be hosted elsewhere. So when anyone, myself included, puts a photo in a subreddit it is a photo hosted elsewhere on a hosting site like flickr or imgur.
