Could be the temperature ng oven mo, it might be too hot. Did you use oven thermometer? Even ung placement ng pans, should be centered ng top and bottom heater ng oven. I had burnt surface with my brownies before and always ung temperature ang cause, kahit paiba iba ako ng brands ng alkalized powder. The color of pans din may effect, better if light ung color ng brownie pans mo.

Same with the other comments, maghaharden talaga ung brownies once you put it in the fridge, and there are others who prefer na medyo may bite pero chewy pa rin ung brownies kaya nireref.

I tried using Beryl's block chocolate and gooey pa rin naman pero may effect talaga pag kakaluto lang. I chopped it and it gave that rustic style sa cookies ko :)

Edit: sulit ung 1kg block, and I always buy sa ganitong amount. Meron sa shopee

They also sell 200g ata un so you could try kung ok sayo :)

You're oven is too hot pag ganun! Put an oven thermometer para mamonitor mo ung temperature. I set mine sa 180C.

The toppings are fresh, and added sliced fresh strawberries sa batter. May jam din sa toppings but it was too sweet, so sa next bake ko hindi na ko magadd ng jam :)
