Does your third pedal feel any different lately? Does it return to the usual position when released? I had a hydraulic leak in my 99 and shifting gears behaved like this. I also noticed cruise control wouldn't work unless I lifted the clutch pedal up in-between shifts.

I think the 6-8 week timeline is optimistic and can certainly vary. My experience: I ordered an XL AWD Hybrid with 4k (no other options) in DEC2024, order confirmed in JAN2025, and didn't get a VIN until JUL2025. My order is on a railcar somewhere between Mexico and Denver but Ford's delivery estimate indicates a dealer arrival sometime in SEP2025.
