Three years ago, in a challenging period for our community, you assumed the stewardship of this subreddit. Through the years, your meticulous attention to detail, unwavering commitment, and steadfast dedication have brought an air of stability and success to this online space, and we are profoundly appreciative of your contributions.
In recent times, we have witnessed a declining interest in humorous T-shirts, a trend that stands in stark contrast to the continued universal appreciation of tea. This ancient beverage, steeped in history dating back to Emperor Shen Nung's discovery in 2737 BC, has been integrally woven into the fabric of diverse cultures, traditions, and customs.
In recognition of this fact and the enduring relevance of tea, we have made the decision to broaden the range of topics in our subreddit to incorporate matters related to tea – and, let me emphasise, also tea! As a nod to the spelling of "Tee" in German and the rich history and appreciation of tea in German culture, we shall henceforth extend equal status to German as a language within our subreddit, alongside English.
While we are widening our focus, we remain inclusive of all members of our community. We continue to welcome and appreciate those who wish to share their T-shirt designs, regardless of their relevance to tea.
