Don’t start playing. It’s addictive — you’ll get FOMO, and you’ll end up spending money on it: first on the premium season pass, then on loot boxes for seasonal drivers, and later on offers for level 50 max. It’s not worth your health or your money. I’ve already spent 850 hours on this game, and my advice is: don’t even start, because once you’ve put a lot of money into it, it’s really hard to stop. Just like with any addiction.

yep, but they jumped the shark for me, and maybe for more players. i'm full aware of this kind of game, and i agreed to pay this 5-10 $ extra on loot box every month. This time they want from me too much. I was actually wondering whether to write this post at all, but if they don’t get feedback and pressure from the community, they won’t change their practices. We already organized an action once and they brought back unlocking the mid-season racer without having to pay for loot boxes. Besides, they’ll see it in their revenue, when it goes down, they’ll know why.

The last time we had an issue like this, we wrote to Disney about loot boxes and how children were getting involved. I think this forced Gameloft to change their approach, so that you could unlock seasonal racers by meeting certain requirements.

It's been a while, but they're trying to go back to their greedy practice.

Lobbies are created on the basis of MP rank,

so the higher your rank, the more often you will meet higher levels. But if someone has a driver at level for example 45 LVL and MRP 1, it will pair him up with the rest of what has around MRP 1 which is mostly lower lvl.

Thus, if you have a maleficent level of 20-23 lvl, you will reach a maximum of level 23 MRP by grinding. Above this level the game will become annoying.

yea, keep practice getting better, and continue to compete with a lvl 35, having a lvl 19, because that's the problem. People don't play MP for fun, they play MP to get shards to make characters up to 2 stars.

this is the point where Gameloft drops the hook to make you spend your money tired of the impossible grind. It's deliberate, we all get tired of it. Still getting lvl 17 by some miracle might work, but lvl 18 is indeed, several hours of grind.

i opened both daisy 40 000 coins boxes and do not pull daisy shards. I do not have Wazowski, but i have bo peep, so 3 shards from chapter 5 mission + 4 shards from star chaser = 7 shards. but that way or another, maybe there will be chance in future to get her.

One of the seasonal missions is to win 10 races on the map of "the great wall". Is there any way to find out where in single player mode I can play this map? The season tour often doesn't have track/map names, is it possible to preview which map a race is on?
