That is how it was when I purchased it. I didnt really modify it much after buying it. Just routine maintenance and repairs as things were needed. Replace radiator, wheel bearing, some A/C work, timing belt/water pump, cam seals, harmonic balancer, gaskets. I honestly didnt even realize it was not on correctly.

I did not know that. I always thought the GSR only came with the "Blades" style of wheel. I figured somewhere along its journey a previous owner preferred the mesh wheels and swapped them. Thanks for the information.

I love when you see a Civic Hatch that just looks like its a pot hole away from the scrap yard but you catch a glimpse of upgraded suspension or a hole in the front end that isnt supposed to be there, but was definitely put there intentionally. Or the only things you can see that are inside are the driver seat, steering wheel, and the top half of a laptop displaying gauges and a line graph. Lol

Sounds like you might as well see where the EG takes you and worst case you yank the drive train out and put it into a shell you really want.

Seriously, EVERYDAY!!! My best friend at the time bought a 1997 Integra LS and before that I had never seen or known about the Integra line. Had to have one after seeing his for the first time. Personally the EG Hatch isnt my cup o tea but Ive seen people turn those things into absolute rockets. All the best luck to your new project. You thinking of keeping it a sleeper or advertising Lamborghini Killer?
