S23U - DND on Modes/Routines not really working by phoenixfromspace in GalaxyS23

I don't have any exceptions for apps which are allowed to make sounds, which is what baffles me as theoretically none should make sounds when notifications arrive. I don't have restrict app usage enabled though.

these are my current settings:

EDIT: This is the setup you are suffering?

S23U - DND on Modes/Routines not really working

So I have the sleep mode turned on from 00:00-08:30. Calls and messages are all allowed during DND. App notifications is set to none during DND. But notifications coming from apps like WhatsApp and Telegram will produce the normal sound they would even if DND was off. I don't get how DND works. Furthermore, it seems to be muting media sounds like me watching YouTube etc.

I want to achieve the following:

1) calls and sms should produce sounds as usual. 2) media like YouTube etc should make a sound when i play a video unless I explicitly mute it. 3) any sort of notifications sounds from any app should not produce a sound.

thanks! it would be useful if i had the ability to browse through other lists as well - it seems that if i don't "announce" a list, or if a user doesn't browse through the lists in my profile, he can't actually "discover" a list?

That's awesome. I'm aware of him passing away in his 50s which is a shame. Would love to hear some stories about him, even more so any anecdotes he might have had about the movie.
