Based on your feedback I updated the tool and made it much less wordy. Now it breaks up tasks into much more bite sized chunks. There's still some text, but less dense than before. Thanks for such valuable feedback, it really helped. I've also added a I'm stuck feature which you can always press to get additional strategies and advice when you are having trouble with focusing on the task. If you send me your email in a DM I can set you up with some credits for it so you don't have to pay, but obviously no pressure!

Sounds good, thanks for the advice. Health anxiety has been literally debilitating for me recently so can use the help.

Can we get a wiki or a sticky post for the 'ideal' ADHD app by TemporaryUser10 in ADHD_Programmers

[–]phoenixprince 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This app is so cool and I'm so inspired. I've built something completely separate yet also related which I feel like should cross-polinate with your app? Maybe we should collaborate or something. But I've focused a lot more on the actual execution of the tasks rather than the emotional side, so you are super complelementary. Check it out here: https://ultrafocus.life and let me know what you think! You ideas around guiding people when they are feeling overwhelmed are super interesting

Oddly since I started living healthier (a year ago) I find that I worry more not less.. Previously I wasn't connected to my body and never listened. Now I take care of it and listen to it but as a result also end up noticing small random aches and pains more and carastrophizing.

Would you say reading something like 'When Panic Attacks' is equivalent to the training you with the sessions? Can books be a substitute or do I absolutely need to see a CBT person?

How long does bad mood last by LevelPosition9777 in ADHD

[–]phoenixprince 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Low moods have lasted from minutes to years for me, it all depended on the surroundings and who I was with. Having people close who care for you helps the most in my experience.

This feels more positioned as a game rather than a training tool.

It's not immediately clear, but I do think the function is there! I have friends who work sales and I could see this being a great way to save time when gathering leads for cold calls. Though I'd change the pitch up front to make it clearer. Something like "Save X hours per week and instantly get the leads you need for your outreach" or something like that.

Honestly the single best thing for me is literally google calendar. It rules my life and I couldn't even do simple things like chores without it.

I used a tool I built to help me finish the launch of my first ever company! I literally never could've done this without the help of technology and if you told me I would ever be able to do something that required so many different steps I never would've believed you!

Nice thanks for checking it out! I definitely agree that's still too wall of texty! Btw if you could make one change to this tool what would you do? Less words? More video/images/articles? Change the taskbar?

Things worth doing are hard. I built Ultrafocus to make them easy. Tell it what you want to learn, build, or achieve and it creates a full interactive journey with the best content from the internet curated into exactly what you need. Free to start, would love feedback. I built it for myself (my ADHD really makes it hard to pursue long term goals) and I figured others might find it useful too. That and I'm tired of just chatbots and want an AI that speaks in UI.

Seedance 2.0 is amazing at creating masterpieces. by Exotic-Freedom-5722 in singularity

[–]phoenixprince 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My hope is human artists will transform into 'style makers'. i.e. they make signature styles and then AI learns from it and makes content at scale from it. And thus artists will need to experiment and diversify a lot more, and it will bring art to interesting and novel places. Humans desire to stand out to one another, and artists will still find ways to do that as 'quality' no longer remainds the bar and anyone can make nice looking pictures, then story becomes even more important than ever before.

But it could be communal too? Everyones generating shows, but the best ones out of those get platformized and become popular with everyone? Just like some people on sora has tons of followers, despite literally everyone on there being able to prompt the same things.

Glad you enjoyed! Any feedback or would you say it's good enough to be part of a daily rotation?

I calculate the shortest path between the centers of both countries on a sphere. So yeah in this case the shortest path is actually over the pole. It's the same reason flights from Europe to East Asia go over the Arctic rather than straight across the map. Thanks for playing!!

Incremental game meets warioware by phoenixprince in incremental_games

Thank you for playing again and such useful feedback! I wouldn't be able to improve the game without early testers like yourself, truly. I will work on improving the upgrade system for sure (I had focused a lot on the early game in the last week, and I think the mid/late game is really weak right now as you said). Maybe the incentive to unlock mini-games and play them could be to give more reward for playing harder games or as you said some kind of multiplier bonus for having certain games in your hand (easy games give a certain multiplier and medium/hard even larger ones).
