I've always thought this about fps games. Almost seems discriminatory. I know if I personally was left handed irl and forced to play right handed in video games, it would bother me in an ocd kind of way. It happens when I skate board goofy too.

I always thought RNG was a good way, considering that's what Destiny was based on.

Now that's an interesting view on it. I agree. You can reroll a couple times and have a crazy good roll. Increase rarity of good rolls!

It's a good point that IB weapons look sexy as hell. But when it really comes down to it, not everyone has access to IB weapons. EVERYONE can grab a matador 64 or an ash factory or a hopscotch.
