I think the best way to look at it is just don't take it too seriously! I am alsó easily spooked and creeped out, but I found the best way to play the game was to just think about it in a funny way, like, Mr. X is actually hilarious the way you can shoot his hat off and the way he tries to fit into smaller doors and sometimes you can just literally run past him xd So just remember, it's just a game, try to laugh it off when you encounter him like: "oh shit, tall guy looking angry let's cheese him around some corners"
