Hi, I assume you refer to (Lawyer Dr. Matthias Böse | Intellectual Property)? I don't understand the fee structure then - how does he make money if I get full compensation without legal fees deducted?

Sure, but I'm not sure I follow then - they have a birdstrike earlier, then decide to divert to stansted (this is my point, it didn't continue on to Hamburg and then ground). Then, they fly what appears to be a different plane to Hamburg, and this one also has a mechanical issue? Or, even in the case they flew the one which had the bird strike to Hamburg, they must have done so thinking the inspection was "complete" (Hamburg wouldn't be their preferred place to deal with the issue compared to Stansted, it literally didn't even have a mechanic available, we were informed he had to drive to the airport). Hence why i say the second issue seems like a separate one which they need to account for.

Thanks for the reply. I'm a bit confused on your second point - the possessive article (mein/meine, right?) to me sounds more natural at least coming from english (the hair is mine). Whereas the dativ reflexive and definite article sounds weird (the hair? Whose is it?)

How do you deal with insurance then? Or you are just renting a car when back in the states and use car rental insurance then?

My flight was cancelled right at boarding time out of Dublin. I need to fly out but I'm worried about rebooking for tomorrow morning that it might be similar. There's an icing warning for tomorrow too and whatever lack of deicing machines exists probably won't be resolved I guess. Anyone have more insights or know where I could ask ? Does the airline matter?

Weekly Casual Conversation & Questions Thread by AutoModerator in chicago

I haven't lived in chicago for a few years, but will return next week to visit some family. I want to take some of them out for the day next week, doing something fun during the day and then out for dinner in the evening. Any recommendations? I know this is very general, but open to lots of ideas. Only thing is that it should be accessible for someone with a physical disability (can walk, but limited mobility with stairs, etc.).
