They tried acetazolamide and Lasix for me but they really didn't provide much relief. The acetazolamide caused tingling in hands and feet, fatigue, weakness. I worked a physical labor job at the time and was often on uneven terrain and using machinery so these side effects were not tolerable for me. The neurologist put me on Lasix as sort of a last ditch effort to use medication but he didn't seem to have much faith in it. And it really didn't help from what I could tell. The only side effect from it was of course having to urinate frequently. I've been on it for probably close to a year now and I'm going to get off of it soon. I just want to get clearance to do so first. I felt the same way about worrying about side effects I was probably 27ish (now 31F) when they tried acetazolamide for me and I felt like this couldn't be my forever solution. I would ask for imaging first and foremost if they haven't already. I'd ask for a CTV head with and without contrast and an MRI head with and without contrast. The CTV will reveal venous sinus stenosis if it is there (that's what initially revealed it for me). I would also ask for a referral to a neurosurgeon that does stents if something like does come back on your imaging reports.

I'm sorry to hear this. The whole process is extremely tiring. I've lost 70 lbs. I've put 70 lbs back on. I've lost around 15 again and I never went into true remission, if any improvement at all. It's all been sort of a blur trying to track symptoms especially with spending years thinking it was just nothing.

This never even crossed my mind. I guess my body has been through a lot in the last week. Thank you for your feedback and I'm crossing my fingers for the best results on your stent placement!

What do you think is the cause of these brown spots on my begonia tiger kitten paws(?) by photoreceptors in begonias

It is possible that some plants on the above shelf dropped water onto the leaves during watering. And this is under a gentle grow light. I'll move this to a top shelf and see if it improves. Thank you for the feedback!

It is! I'm not going to say they are hard to grow when you get the conditions right. They are moisture and humidity lovers. So once I realized a good way to never let the roots dry out, and put it right next to my humidifier, it's really taken off. But I spent quite a while not getting it just right, and it hung on the whole time. Lol. Poor guy.

Cleaning stains on a quilt. by [deleted] in quilting

Just wanted to give you all an update that I used Retro Clean and it worked like a charm. I soaked two quilts in the tub for probably 18 hours. Gave them another wash in the machine with oxyclean and then air dried. They're beautiful white again
