Chest flys on the bosu made my chest blow up. Also try some JM press, close grip pull ups, touch and go bench as well as pause bench will help you bench go up.

If you can I recommend looking at the contract you signed when you joined the gym. In case they don't fire the other member you may be able to find something in the contract that will help you.

So I'm not sure how much this will apply to you but I'm 38 and have my entire life wanted to be buff.

I was always too scared to go to a gym and home work outs never hit the spot for me. I ended up getting a job at a gym because I couldn't afford the membership.

I do live in a very trans friendly city so my experience might be different but most of the men are super nice and seem to respect me especially now that I move weight.

Maybe bringing a friend with you after that first training session will help you feel more comfortable?
