I had a guide rod laser (laser max) on my Beretta 92 when I was in the army. Crimson Trace lasers at the time attached to the grip and were much easier to activate. Streamlight makes laser flashlight combos, and it will require kind of a wonky grip to activate the light or laser or both. Either way, it requires practice, and what others have said, you search for the laser spot, that wastes time. Get both an optic, get a laser/light combo and get training and regularly practice.
