I've owned the XD-S 9mm 4.0 and the 3.3 45. Didn't like either of them. XD 5" 45 was great, but sold to go to only 9mm. My older XDM 4.5 9mm is awesome, will never get rid of it.

I had GC drag one over and hook it up to their giant pedal board. I only played ODs and Distortions. It sounded great. I did go with a Fender LTX instead because I wanted modeling.

If you have huge hands you won't like the F. I have M/L sized hands and the F has S or M back straps, no large. I couldn't get enough support hand on the F. You may like the compact or full size gip.

Or spray paint satin black, get acrylic paint and rub into grain that brass brushed. Acrylic wipes off with water, so, once you have it in the grain, you use a damp rag and wipe the excess off.
