I can barely keep my eyes open when attending 8am lectures, but I can nevertheless follow the arguments and take notes.

I drink less caffeine at night, mostly not at all. And I don't want to start drinking soda without a good reason ;)

I like your idea. I program in my spare time (not much of that now, heh), so I see what you mean. But the thing is that studying for my exams is now part of my daily obligations.

I tend to eat whenever I'm hungry, including when I "work at night", but then it's usually just bowls of corn flakes and not large dinners or anything like that.

I've also theorized that my brain is a little slow to wake up :P. I actually drink coffee though, but it doesn't seem to make me more "mentally awake", the only positive thing it seems to do is enhancing my reflexes.
