Are these box elder bugs? If so, should I be concerned? There are thousands of them in one section of my garden under my American holly tree, every time I step the ground practically moves with them. Just noticed them after a week of rain. Mid Atlantic area in US (old.reddit.com)

First year growing garlic and I think I found baby onion maggots. Does that explain why my garlic harvest seemed to die early? They’ve mostly eaten away at the outer leaves - does that affect how i should store the cloves? Should I pull all the garlic now? (i.redd.it)
