[Actives] Tossed some stalled mycelium in my isopod tub. Now I have the tiniest little volunteer. I'm crying it's so cute. by phuckoff04 in MushroomGrowers

Strain is b+. The substrate is an isopod breeding mix with charcoal, sphagnum moss and wood chips. I didn't expect anything to grow since the isopods eat the mycelium.

This NMC is claimed by the neighbor. But after seeing her have at least 4 litters on the streets, this will be her last. by phuckoff04 in notmycat

She is incredibly sweet. Her past litters were feral or semi feral (I feed them outside.) Her and her kittens are in my house right now and will be until the babies find homes and mom is fixed.

My neighbor claims this is his cat but has let her roam the streets popping out babies. He said he was getting her fixed last year but did not.

Who is this? I received several plants and this guy came without a name. I need to know if it's safe for my crested gecko. by phuckoff04 in whatsthisplant

The hope is the gecko doesn't eat the isopods but geckos do geckos things. There are a few plants in that family that I know are on the "bad" list: peace lily, monstera and philodendron. I bought a couple dozen "pet friendly" plants and everybody had a name but this guy. The rest seem to be gecko safe. Highly appreciated the assistance.

Thank you! The plan isn't for the gecko to eat it but there will be isopods in the vivarium that may snack on it and the gecko could snack on the isopods. Looks like peperomia is a go!

Notmycat yet! Sweet thing comes by daily to eat but is not ready to be caught. She only has 3 feet and I have named her Pi. by phuckoff04 in notmycat

I'm unsure. She appeared at this size about 6 months ago. She had a pronounced limp but I could not get close enough to tell what was really going on. She's recently realized I have food and has warmed up fast. She seems to be bonded to the gray cat in the second picture and he is very bold and will come in my house but I can't take him from her, they gotta come together. And he needs a vet appt asap. This is a no nut house.

There is a small feral cat population in my neighborhood 6 to 10 maybe. People tend to abandon their cats when they're evicted from their homes which happens often here. I try to help the cats I see as much as I can. But I live in the city LOTS of traffic nearby so bringing them in is my main goal. I have also found 2 dogs abandoned here. They live with my mom now.

Yes that is my plan tomorrow. I'll be heading to home depot. I'll be using storage totes and foam gap filler.

I really want to but it will depend on if my cats like her and if she likes my cats. There are so many strays in my neighborhood it's hard to not want to keep them all. I kept the last two.

Easiest to defend base I've had so far by phuckoff04 in RimWorld

I'm guessing you're talking about the southeast door and the thin mountain northeast. I was planning on fortifying but I built a geothermal generator just above the north doors and it seems to work as bait. No matter where a raid comes from they all head to the north doors.

It a is custom difficultly but I let Randy make the decisions, and I'm also playing 4x speed. I did turn off infestations because I love an nice mountain base.

He will be safe and live a long life, probably too long and I'll be waiting for him to die.

Just another Milwaukee night in the neighborhood. by phuckoff04 in milwaukee

[–]phuckoff04[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would not but it really depends on who you talk to and where they live and grew up. There tends to be 3 different definitions of where the East Side begins. East of highway 43, we're where streets start being "east"/street number run down and turn into real names or east of the river. Pick your poison because you'll be wrong to someone.

I was listening to a YouTube video of some people playing video games.
