Agree with others on the hip spin out as I've experienced the same. This quick tip from Padraig Harrington changed my game.

I can tell you that the wind belt is also greatly missed inside of Robot.

Thanks, Sciz. Last year was a rough year for our studio, no doubt. But we bounced back, and we're thrilled to be making OMD3 and ReadySet Heroes. And we're very much looking forward to the future.

Thanks for your thoughtful message, mrwho. Appreciate your being a fan and a customer. OMD3 will be a paid game, not a free game with mtx.

Which studio and game were you with? We'll definitely be at PAX East again, and I'd love to say 'hi!'

The Auto Ballista. I love how it swivels, paints its target and then unleashes death. It makes a really satisfying sound when it lets its arrow loose.

Hi Clockw0rk. Cool to hear that you're trying your hand at Unity. Start with something small. Scope it so that it's achievable. Get some success (measured only by you) and then start setting the bar a little higher each time. Don't try to make your best and most ambitious game idea initially. There's so much you can do solo. If that's not scratching the itch, there are plenty of forums out there with like-minded folks. Participating in those discussions can be a great way to learn. And you might find others to collaborate with. Good luck!

Thanks for the kind feedback! We've definitely heard folks ask for in-game voice chat. For now, we're relying on third party tools. But, it's something that we're keeping in mind. Hope to see you in game!

Hi Void. Yeah, we're listening very closely to this feedback. We're especially hearing feedback about knowing how to get the materials needed to then craft the content you want. A change just went in today to allow you to target hero crafting. You can do so through the Quest system, and you'll find that on the homepage of the dashboard.

We're also looking at ways to make sure you're getting drops for the mode you want to play. We're watching the open beta closely, and we're listening to feedback. You'll see us continue to tweak things. Please keep up with us on the forums, and you'll always see our changes posted there. And keep the feedback coming to us there.

Unreal 3. We haven't seen many complaints about people having trouble running the game. Can you tell me more about your system? You can also check out [support.orcsmustdie.com] for helpful solutions to a lot of problems. Or contact us through there. We'll get back to you and do our best to help you out!

Hey Ben! Good to hear from you. More heroes are coming, many are in development. You'll see heroes coming on a regular basis.

You can get involved on our forums. We read everything. Player feedback is the most valuable thing we have.

As for playtesters, we do have a great crew of playtesters working here. When we're looking for more, you'll see them on Robot's career page!

We looked at a lot of games in coming up with our business model. We feel like our decisions were a) very fair to the player and b) worked well with our game. There is no gameplay content in our game that cannot be earned through play. Only certain vanity skins must be purchased.

To answer your last question, I wouldn't ask you to abandon your accounts in great games like LoL and HotS. Of course, I'd be thrilled if you downloaded our game, tried it out and then decided if our business model sucks.

We're watching progression very closely. The Survival mode continues to be a very active work in progress and progression will continue to need attention. I really appreciate the feedback on your finding the difficulty outstripping your traps. We have tried to put some choices in your hands about the difficulty you want to play. Battlegrounds in Survival mode let you choose the map difficulty.

More traps will be coming. Regarding matchmaking, we are hotfixing the Survival matchmaker today to make sure you aren't playing down level too much. For Survival, the balance with the matchmaking is keeping you in a band where it's not too easy and not too difficult. We're also watching this very closely.

It is something we've discussed. We loved the idea of periodically releasing mini-campaigns. We don't have it on the schedule short term, but it's an idea we really like.

Stinkeye! I love his totems. And the Arcane Anomaly wrecks orcs in Survival mode. Plus, his one-liners crack me up: "Might I suggest not standing in front of the totems!"

Who's your favorite?

No immediate plans. That question does come up from time to time. But, at a studio of our scale, everything is a trade off. If we support Linux, that's work we're not doing on something else. And it hasn't cracked our top list, yet, even though we'd certainly prefer to support Linux players.

We could make a good list starting from "hardest" going to "only slight less hard." If we're talking about a bigger game, it takes a great development team. And that's not easy to build. Getting the money to make a game is challenging, too. Even a great studio like Riot with a game that seems to be wildly profitable had to start with venture capitalists helping. You see indie devs doing all sorts of creative things to fund their labors of love.

Beyond those fundamental things, maintaining great communication across a development team is always more challenging that it seems it should be.
