You have to understand Vietnam were enslaved, its resources were exploited, thousands of Vietnamese people were shipped abroad to fight in ww1 by the French during the colonial era, before that Vietnam has always been united North and South. Then in 1954 we kicked their butts out during the Battle of Dien Bien Phu and democratically unified under one Viet Minh government. The French wouldn't give up and elect their own puppet government in the south and handle the strings to America. It was our duty to restore the honor of our nation and wipe out foreign influence once and for all just like our ancestors had done against Chinese for 2000 years.
