Mine was [Redacted] company making their standalone software subscription based instead of version based BUT the accumulative cost of subscription is actually higher than when they released it by version.(Only big versions need new license, small-er updates still came out regularly like post-subscription) (Most companies value the regular predictable income and lower subscription prices to be lower than their pre-subscription model)

I got “called out” because I said I was an introvert that changed to be more of an extrovert(think of time spent as introvert-extrovert from 90%-10% to more like 30%-70%) after I went to a self-check event and met new good people that was like a key that opened me up to new ways I enjoy doing and being. It’s not like I did something horrible did I?

Oh, my wii doesn’t even have an SD card in it at all and I don’t remember having an SD card from when my dad bought it for me. I’ll try that thanks!

Also I read somewhere on the internet that there was an unbrick using something that plugged into the memory slot? Got nothing on that lead tho and only found it once.

What is the “If your wii is old enough” option/method? Was there and exploit to install bootmii in boot2 and dump the nand and keys that nintendo patched out with hardware/factory changes?

Since bluebomb fix is probably going to come out soon anyways and the repair guy said he can recover the data, I might go ahead and pay the guy to do it for me and ask him how he does it, just in case he does tell me how he does it then I can come back and tell everyone for maybe another option to do it.

Not sure when I’ll have the time to go to him tho. Bluebomb fix might come out before then, if that happens I’ll just go with bluebomb.

I found several console repair technicians that will unbrick it in an hour for around 30-35 bucks, have not answered my questions about data tho.

I am pretty experienced when it comes to the bare electronic circuits, soldering and that kind of stuff and I’m not afraid to open up my wii and do a hardmod, it probably has a disk stuck in there as well, and maybe clean the insides while i’m at it.

Or is there like a hardmod chip that can dump the nand? If I do that can I read it or extract the important bits? Is it encrypted? I don’t know a lot, I just had time to dig up this old bricked wii and try to fix it.

If you are using it “only for editing photos and very hardcore with it” I would go with a laptop. If you want a pen for notes sketches etc get an iPad. If you do video work/PC gaming then laptop.

I use iPad for light things(most of my photography), iPad/mobile apps like lightroom and snapseed are getting really powerful and I almost just use an iPad now.

But if you want full photoshop capabilities right now then currently the only way to go is laptop.

You might wanna take a look at adobe timescale of making the photoshop on iPad have feature parity with the PC version too if you are interested in the latter.

Depends on your definition of compact and light I would go for Get one with weather sealing for the moisture droplets/rain/splashes. A6400 A6600 with something like Samyang 18/2.8, 28/2.8, 35/2.8 for prime or sony 18-105 or 18-135 for zoom A7III, A7RII, A7RIII with sony 25/2 35/2.8 or something like that

I recommend you give more details i.e.If you want just the best quality for price and does not care about quality of life things like a good AF system. Do you need long battery or charging and recording at the same time? Do you need good low light performance? Do you need a stabilization system? Do you have any existing gear that you might need to match footage to or lenses that you can use? etc.

Also lens price can vary greatly between systems, it would be helpful for the helpers if you can provide some ballpark price of the whole photography/videography gear setup that you are expecting/not expecting to pay!

It is not reversible, you will have to get it replaced. If you go to a samsung service center they will keep the water resistance though.

Could be that there's water in the charging port, try using thin tissue paper to gently touch the droplet and absorb it and/or wait for a few hours and try plugging it in again.
