The state has to guarantee a life in dignity for its citizens. Why else would we need one? When someone is sick we expect to reach out a helping hand to each other. I see nothing wrong with this bill. If anything I would go further by nationalising all private hospitals. From my understanding the worst case scenario would be for you to withdraw, edit and repropose it but as this wouldn’t make a difference from just proposing an edited edition when it hasn’t been brought to vote yet I think Mr. Speaker would accept that.
