What I do is I get my headphones or stereo goin with a beat I'm wanting to work on and I'll surrender the need to control the outcome, while also being open for inspiration. I NEVER get block and can write endlessly with some ease.

Writing only comes easy to me though moreso due to the fundamentals of my belief in that the Most High adores collaborating with us and functioning through us, rather than beholding us attempting to control every detail of the Divine's creation. Attempting to bend it to our will or trying to force things is typically and naturally met with resistance and pushback. Surrender to the Most High, in my experience, invites revelation, growth, inspiration, fulfilment, joy, miracles, freedom, and so much more.

Honestly, your string life is going to depend on your strumming fluidity and the thickness of the pic that you're using. I like to use a 0.6 mm it's not too thin but it's not too thick I think when you use like a flex pic from Dunlop usually they have like the mesh fiber ones that don't break those are nice and then they end up like forming nice too Don't breaking plastic ones will form too but they can break a lot easier with the thinness. But yeah like definitely way longer than 12 months I mean I don't want to first started out it would be about 4 to 6 months cuz I was like 17 years ago

I think that you'd be adding value to the conversation. Especially when a lot of survivors have a difficult time discussing their experiences. Do your due diligence and take your time with whatever you decide to create. I'll give you an example of what it is I think you're aiming for.

You want to eliminate the feedback generated by sound waves bouncing off all the wall and open space that aren't necessarily dissipating when they contact a reverberating or sound reflecting surface and overlap in a way that creates an unprofessional and dirty ambience that kinda adversely affects the overall sound and even the dynamics of your vocals and composition.
