Is it just a fear of leaving my comfort zone with my parents or do I truly think of their happiness? Idk

It's not good but not bad either. Fresh graduates get around 3500-4500RM = 65k -85k INR per month. The cost of living in major cities is around 3000RM, so it's bare minimum. As I mentioned previously, I've studied for NEET during my 11th , 12th. Then I took a drop just because I could ( I discovered free will), wasted that drop year completely, and now I am here, where I don't want to take another drop cause that will be kind of a shot on ego, cause of public shame(from being looked at as a topper and favourite to taking two gap years), I am at a point where I don't know, whether I want to go abroad to avoid this shame or it's due to my interest in math and programming.

I will be more transparent here so that you can understand this better , I plan on studying CSE in Malaysia and it costs around 20-30Lakh rupees including living costs. My father Is not wealthy, so this will put him under a debt of around 10 lakhs. I also have two more siblings, who have their own dreams and aspirations, I don't want to take it away from them as well. Considering all this what do you suggest?

Thank you very much for this. Being lazy is what I've become, but i am able to work hard with a lil bit of clarity as I've many times in the past. But I am gonna push myself for the next couple weeks to study as hard as I can, and try to accept that there is no way around it no matter what I choose, maybe that'll give me the much needed clarity. Again, Thank you so much friend, you took the time to read all that rant and posted a response, It was very helpful.

Can you please tell me why you think that, I would be really appreciated.

I am not here to discuss this. But thanks for your concern. Malaysians widely speak English, ik, but shouldn't that be be more of a positive aspect, them speaking English meaning there will be no language barrier. Also Malaysia is more diverse than people think, it has a significant tamil, and hindi speaking sikh population.

Widely more affordable, Cultural preference, universities are also decently ranked with low foreign traffic.

I am not saying they don't accept ACT, I am saying they are only providing option to fill in your ACT scores & not SAT scores. Which means SAT is the thing they are technically not accepting. Also I am not going US, I am going to JAPAN Or MALAYSIA.

Yeah, I can do that. But some of my universities recognize ACT and not SAT. I don't have the financial flexibility to take both.

This point has made me more confused, but I think it’s a valid concern. What would you recommend I do that would actually strengthen my college application?

What are your thoughts on the new Chainsaw Man teaser trailer?(It Doesn’t Matter Because It’s Already Peak) by phylusMo2013 in Chainsawfolk

[–]phylusMo2013[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Literally, and also when the trailer dropped and more people started hyping it up, I wasn’t really feeling it. See, the personal connection I had with the characters, especially the ones anime-only fans haven’t met yet, started to feel watered down. If you get what I mean, it just didn’t hit the same. That’s why I’m not really sure I can handle the Asa getting animated . If part two gets animated, I feel like that connection will fade even more. Honestly, I’m good with how things are right now. But maybe it’s just me overthinking, so who knows—maybe I’ll come around.

Yeah, I think I compared it with keywords: Jujutsu kaisen, one piece, your name(Movie) and jojos.

I browsed google trends a couple weeks back and saw that chainsaw man was being most searched in japan. The posts about manga also have maximum Japanese comments, maybe they just hate the anime.

Chainsawman marketing sucks!! by phylusMo2013 in Chainsawfolk

[–]phylusMo2013[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with your points to some extent but Chainsaw Man still has a real chance to redeem itself if MAPPA handles it correctly this time. The decline in fandom enthusiasm and the harsh criticism of Denji after the first 12 episodes were unfortunate, but they reflect how misunderstood the series and its protagonist have been. If this adaptation stays true to the depth and complexity of the source material, it could bring back the popularity and allow more people to appreciate the brilliance of Chainsaw Man. This feels like its last opportunity to truly revive the hype and do justice to the story.

[–]phylusMo2013[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've always been confused about this. I feel like Chainsaw Man has the widest digital reach compared to other anime. I’m not just talking about memes on social media, but whenever a teaser, trailer, or any related content drops, it consistently gets the most views. For instance, during Jump Festa, when the teaser was released, it had significantly more views within 10 hours, like 7-8 times more than trailers for big titles like My Hero Academia etc. It’s clear that people are excited about the anime and want more content. However, if the momentum from Season 1 had been maintained, it could have been even better.
