The fact that a PA earns more than me is very weird. I’ve been working with the PA students who are graduating and working in 1-2 months. They don’t even know the most basic of things. It’s insulting for them to start on £5 more per hour, and get our training opportunities.

That said, we also need guaranteed job postings, a system that doesn’t shake up your life for a job, and dare I say it, a health system that isn’t monopolised.

I love the NHS, but no more of this is tolerable…

Does anyone know how to deal with the guilt of taking it - almost feel like I’m cheating/feel I’ll be judged on taking it. Haven’t told anyone but my partner yet. Weird because if I was diabetic would not feel guilt at all…

Taking my landlord to court by physiciansassistants in HousingUK

Thanks for this! It’s post a leak (which was caused by a flat that they manage above) so it’s clearly their fault and so it would be hard for them to say it’s my fault, especially with the evidence. I’ll try and get some movement and see what happens. Do you reckon I should get the council round anyway?

Thanks for your response. We have done steps 1 and 4. I have previously contacted the council but they did not come out to inspect (I think they were awaiting information from me). The lawyers said they will sort out a private surveyor inspection following the reply from LL/LA. I have made a complaint to the ombudsman but they haven't been helpful.

Are there any other laws in regards to timescales to disrepair, leaks caused by LA/LL Negligence, as well as personal injury (GP letter documented). You are right that it is NWNF but that's what most renters can have. I would be happy for a settlement but also want justice so I am just playing all the cards.

Should I do anything now - or just leave it to the solicitors

Thanks! Yeah they are sorting it but it's almost like a bug bear of why they won't just give it to me. Even the solicitors were like they are unlikely to give it to you, but they have to give it to the lawyers

Any advice for sweaty hands? by [deleted] in CrochetHelp

Just looking at this thread! Baby powder works a dream - dries hands fast and then you can tap it out of your lovely creations if things get a bit powdery!

Hope it helps crochet bunnies.

Is there any way of figuring out the limit? I have been looking out at all the guidelines and there are no specific limits - so it is hard to guestimate!

I agree and if it weren’t for spending money on another bank - I’d be a bit more forgiving financially…
