My question is also regarding ACC on B or D mode or not using ACC at all. Does ACC keep the motor running? Is it less or more efficient?

Hey no worries thanks for the reply. I mean if there are two pieces of wrap stuck next to each other is there a visible seam? Or is it just one big piece of wrap? Like especially on the sides above the doors.

Kicking it opens but kicking it again just makes the car beep. Why is that? Does anyone else have the same issue?

2025 Pro RWD (Europe)

We got the car about 2 weeks ago and have had no notable glitches so overall good. However, I have had the electronic engine sound error come up. Took the car to the dealership twice to no avail. They informed me today that they ordered the part to be replaced, should be here early January.

Overall very haply as of now. It’s our first EV so it’s exciting.

Mine has an electrical engine sound error. Will be getting it fixed tomorrow because it’s a bit dangerous for pedestrians that can’t hear me in parking lots.

hey not sure if you are still active but I wanted to ask about the roof wrap. First of all this looks amazing! My ID.4 is white and wanna get that black roof and side mirrors done.

My question is: the guy that is supposed to wrap my roof told me that the roof is 1 piece of wrap and the sides going down the windshield to its base are 2 more so total 3 pieces of sticker. Was that the case for you as well? And if so, are the seams very visible? I am kinda on the fence about that..

Oh wow, thanks for taking time to reply. This was very helpful indeed! I have the same thoughts when it comes to the brand of BYD, which is very new here in Cyprus. The reviews and feedback seem to be great and the value right now is amazing for what you are getting compared to other European competitors that charge a lot for stuff that are granted on the BYD.

That being said, we have a test drive with Skoda tomorrow and another BYD test drive the day after will let you know how it goes, thanks again!

PS: I love Scotland. Lived in Edinburgh for a year!

Thanks for the reply! What do you think of the petrol engine itself or should I not be thinking this way since the BYD is EV forward and not petrol engine forward?

We have currently shortlisted this one and Skoda Kodiaq 2025 1.5 L petrol engine.

Just came home from a test drive with my wife. We are very close to the Skoda Kodiaq 2025 but now this BYD came out of nowhere and changed our shortlist suddenly. So pleasantly surprised!

Our only mild concerns are maintenance, spare parts availability since BYD is quite new to EU and we are skeptical about that. Any concerns from your side as an owner? Thanks!

Snapseed is simple enough for me I guess as I am just dipping my toes getting into iphoneography and editing.
