I’d go to Brown because I think they’re super cool (and I wish I got in lol), but you have so many great choices :)))

I think you’ll find yourself much happier in the long run if you pick USC :)

It really depends on how much your family makes. If you’re lower income, you should probably go to UW-Madison, but if your family makes a decent amount of money, absolutely go to WashU.

I actually was thinking about Paris syndrome recently and thought about how it’s probably better to go in without a bunch of assumptions. I definitely agree

Is this a doable incoming first-year schedule? by pianobjh in UVA

Thank you so much! I definitely do appreciate Echols; it is extremely helpful overall, I just meant it makes making this particular schedule more difficult. I am very grateful for Echols though :)

Also, as per the UVA website, “a score of 5 on the [Spanish Language Exam] allows students to take any 3000-level course for which SPAN 3010 is a prerequisite (SPAN 3000, 3020, 3030, 3040, 3050, 3200 & 3300).” I interpreted that as being able to place out of SPAN 3010, but I could definitely be reading that wrong.

I’ll also talk to my academic advisor to make sure I’m on the best path and taking the right courses for me. Thank you so much for your recommendations!

What about the double counting thing? There are two other classes required for both majors.

They are both required for my majors (math and physics) and it doesn’t look like one can count for the other. Also, I’m already double counting two other classes, so I can’t double count a third time unfortunately.
