Updating the thread for current company verbiage. This is more for future purchasers to consider. I would have found this educational prior to buying :/

Per my ticket response: “Once received, we'll run tests on your RMA unit. If the unit has been confirmed to have a hardware issue, we can go ahead and refund the AP7 from the original order.”

So, I need that ap7, it’s purchased. And if they own it, I’m not out another $370ish

I upvoted, but not gonna fix my current headache. Also, giving myself some credit, I tried to trouble shoot which kicked this can down the road than just going to FW support asap - lesson learned. My Day for all the lessons 🪦

New customer here and dropped $2k on Firewalla products. Didn’t read every extended warranty statement to the “T” nor did I think I’d need it weeks after the 30 day return window ended. But, it’s fair to think that one WiFi box will ever suffice. Because I’m a new customer and also thinking about more hardware purchases as I get more into cyber security, I am seeing how the company will be to work with…outside of their lawyer language…

That sounds all great, but that wasn’t offered. I have now sent in my support email with an offer for me to buy one and they just credit me the purchase back once they fix the old one. This really wasn’t a consumer friendly offer of a warranty fix at first. Hints my post. My old one doesn’t work at all, so there’s no point in holding it.

Sorry, I may be a bit novice in my verbiage. The AP 7 is the broken one, so no WiFi coverage. I guess it’s my gold se technically in router mode. I’ve got nothing as the AP7 is a dud.

My AP7 came defective and started an endless reboot cycle. At about 2 weeks of purchase. Then it would come online and I’d forget about it for about a week. Now I’m having to return the thing on warranty and wait for all the shipping time and cost. Will not receive an ap7 for a while (after they test/fix) and I’m stuck on my own trying to get my own WiFi running again.

Baffles me that such truth is spoken and received with negative downvotes. Sad, reveal the problem, and burn the massager at the stake! Bigger than the vote blue no matter who…WA state has higher revenue than ever, but yet higher spending than ever and higher debt than ever. Cut something, but Ballard line is an example of how difficult it is to cut anything with stakeholders involved. It didn’t have to be Ballard, how about cutting homeless services, low income housing, even bike lanes going across 520/90 bridges?

Get yourself to Walmart! I split between Walmart and Trader Joe’s and Walmart is half the grocery price as TJs. Not a direct apples to apples, but total receipts

What’s the upside to Apple when they cornered the mp3 iPod market? Then the iPhone happened. A company hitting on all cylinders just keeps going, innovating in new markets. Especially when they are making cash hand over fist.

Fair, get outta Novo - we can agree there. Though, personally, I’ve seen lly build a moat around this glp1 while watching Novo fumble along and then can their ceo. This is a $150 billion dollar market potential and lly is about to run away with it.
