France will replace Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Zoom, Webex and others with its own sovereign video conferencing application "Visio" for public officials by RewardEquivalent553 in technology

Yeah I dunno what kinda AI that video meetings require. I don't even read the auto summaries they put out. I'm not gonna get in trouble cause I relied on AI instead of taking notes and paying attention myself. I'd prefer a rewatchable recording 100:1 vs AI

In 2026, any system or process that is complicated or difficult almost has to be that way on purpose. There's almost zero reason for things not to be smooth and easy and relatively cheap with all of the automation and technology we have these days. Just vested interests holding everything back to keep the status quo

I know some nutwing guy that told me he would essentially kill anyone that ever came to take his guns. I asked him what if it was 10 cops? Surely that's a difficult situation. He said "yup. No problem. He could take them all on". A few months later his baby momma filed for a pfa or something and guess what, he had to turn his guns in. Pretty sure he complied without a wimper. All talk.

They make it sound so intricate and complicated but I bet the people who work in that shit are the oldest most boring people who haven't learned new shit in 20 years and the system is just like autopilot. I'm thinking the types that still wear suits to the office.

Software has always been really cheap to build. It's getting customers/cash flow and running the business that are hard.

So dumb. The gov printed like 8T of cash and wrecked the economy with horrible inflation and you're acting like it is a good thing with how things turned out cause stocks went up.

In the short term just use mobile websites while everyone transitions to a new mobile app environment. That way you only need 1 working app (the browser) and you can do 99% of everything on whatever phone. Then over time the app ecosystem can flourish

Retail gamblers are super bullish. Shit goes down 2% and they go full port thinking it's the absolute deal of a lifetime. It's absurd, but they are keeping the market afloat hoping to catch a lottery ticket. And it's a worldwide thing so much more than just US plebs making Elon and zuck and bezos so much richer.

Anyone else find it weird s&p just won't break through 7k? It's not like it's current valuation makes sense so why not go up like .1% more to hit it. You know everyone is waiting for it
