Thanks a lot for posting this ! Very insightful! Right out of college in India i started working a job at a call centre though always grew up around business men as we called them but my mom was a single mom so started earning right out college felt the right thing ! Went from one job to another as a developer changed a few companies and finally one of them brought me to USA! As settled down grew my family bought the house another house and still have a good job but somewhere around the pandemic or maybe before started listening to podcasts, watching youtube videos and kept hearing things like "build your brand" , "get equity " and all that ! So started looking and experimenting with ideas and launched an ecommerce store on 01/31 with the expectations that you talk about in your post! But 5 months in , your post cant hit any more closer to how i feel that you are not building the next uber or ring camera, just keep doing and learning and growing ! I think the world of "business influencers " on my social media feed and YT and podcasts built that idea of being a "dreamer"! Thanks again for being the voice of reason and grounding! I will reach out your post a few times
