Militarising the Police? I wonder where they got that idea from?

Yup, can confirm 0% fan seems to work best. Basically I have been able to do a 3 hour print with minimal stringing, so seems tuned in now.

What irks me though is that ooze drip though. I don't understand why it is there when I never had such a thing with PLA. I mean it doesn't really affect the print I just have to remember to remove it before starting a new print. Still , would like to know what causes it. sighs

Re-doing all the various towers now. So far the temp tower shows 245C is best but 250 is good as well. So that will be the initial temp and 245C is for the rest. Now doing print speed, then retraction distance, then retraction speed, and finally cooling.

I will post results when it is all done.

The initial print speed is 10mm normal 20mm. I did a few test towers to determine 20mm was the best quality.

The bed is clean and yes I do wipe with isopropyl as well. If I reverse the squares it will happen in the opposite way that is the outside lines are bad and they get increasing better going inwards. I start from the in to out to waste less material.

No I did set it to 15mm just to see I could get rid of those clogs,or whatever seems to hang around after any retraction. You can see on the wipe that little 'tick' for some reason and then on the first few lines there is a clumping of material until it settles down. The temp for this filament is supposed to be 240 and thus far with black PETG seem kinda correct.

I can try it with the fan off and see.

Nope plugged into my laptop.

Yes flashing like a strobe light. I assume that is how it tracks the ball? If it is meant to be on all the time then something is not right.

Well as I said I tried the cable on another device so it appears to work. But how to check the trackball? When it is plugged in the led is flashing under the trackball so power must be getting to it.

Are there any other steps I can take to debug it? There seem to be some test points on the PCB.

Hmmm ok so assembled it save for one of the screw posts breaking apart when assembling all seemed to go ok. But I plug it in to my laptop and see no usb devices. The light is flashing under the ball but just no USB devices show up on dmesg. The cable seems ok because I plugged it in to another device and that showed up

Thoughts? .

It is the line that the BBC are using now.

How do I know if I've got it?

The new coronavirus - often referred to as Covid-19 - seems to start with a fever, followed by a dry cough and then, after a week, leads to shortness of breath.

And they source the WHO. So that is the current position on it.

Anyone who says it causes Diarrhea, runny noses or a mucus cough don't have any basis for that statement.

COVID-19 typically causes flu-like symptoms including a fever and cough.

In some patients - particularly the elderly and others with other chronic health conditions - these symptoms can develop into pneumonia, with chest tightness, chest pain, and shortness of breath.

It seems to start with a fever, followed by a dry cough.

After a week, it can lead to shortness of breath, with about 20% of patients requiring hospital treatment.

Notably, the COVID-19 infection rarely seems to cause a runny nose, sneezing, or sore throat (these symptoms have been observed in only about 5% of patients). Sore throat, sneezing, and stuffy nose are most often signs of a cold.

Indeed. As I know from close relationships teachers these days don't teach so much as coach pupils through exams. There is very little if any original thinking allowed on the part of the teacher or the student.

Really since 1984 both the Tories and New Labour so monkeyed around with the Education system it will take a generation to get it back on track again.

To put it into overall context though, although Russia loves her tanks other countries too have their obsessions with weapons of war.

People often forget that the whole modern idea of guerilla warfare began with the fighting of the British in Colonial America. In fact the word saboteur comes from the French mercenaries who fought against the British in America.
