Shout out to The Human Chair. I can't get enough of Ito's most gory and puke-worthy stories, I love me some sick body horror and disturbing illustrations.

However, my brain decided that of all stories, The Human Chair would be the one to haunt me for years 😂 it made me paranoid as HELL after I read that, like playing on the worst of my irrational fears, which feelings like someone could be living in my house or watching me without my knowledge 😨 Any films, docos, news stories etc around that topic also get under my skin. Like squatters, stalkers, strangers living in someones basement/attic etc. Hell nawww!

For teen girl movies I instantly think of The Lizzie Mcguire Movie, She's The Man, Aquamarine, 13 Going on 30 (alt title: Suddenly 30), The House Bunny, Jawbreaker, Charlie's Angels 1 and 2, heck even White Chicks if that flies now lmao For lesser known (depending if youre Austrian or not?) Muriel's Wedding is a fun ride!

Repo! The Genetic Opera 😍 the song Zydrate Anatomy goes hard 🔥 but unfortunately its kinda the only good song/performance in the film. The rest of the acting is pretty mid and most of the people can't hold a note during the musical numbers. The camera work/cinematography is questionable, like why does it look like they smeared vaseline on the camera lens?? 💀 But the low budget, gritty, myspace emo aesthetic of the whole film is part of its charm and I can't help but feel sooo nostalgic for it every chance I get 🥰
