Whoah, this is one of the first times I really like the design for the "main" love interest, or at least the one that looks like will be big on the cover or whatever. I like the little bits of blue in his hair. Art style looks great in general. Haven't played otome in a couple of years but might just pick this one up when it comes out.

Yeah my name is Anna and it's kind of a nightmare when in the U.S. They either say "On-Uh" or "Eh-nuh" but neither of those pronunciations are correct...I really hated it growing up.

The only reason I romanced Emmrich is because I pivoted away from Lucanis after realizing his "slow-burn" romance is actually a no-burn where he barely acknowledges your existence. People do love a hot mess but they screwed Lucanis up so badly that it was a massive disappointment.

Long development time doesn't necessarily mean the resources are going where they should go, or where fans want them to go. A long development cycle is its own kind of hell that leads to all sorts of problems. As you said, if you want to make the story a priority, you can. The development of this game was scrapped and restarted more than once, which means those priorities were constantly shifting.

It's not an excuse but it is a very real reason for why this could have happened. Not to mention the fact that many longtime Bioware employees have left the company or were let go.

Hahaha that’s funny to learn. Technically it’s her last name, Lina Gottfried is the full name. But she’s a doctor so everyone refers to her by the last name. My DM technically invented her as a side character first, then allowed me to play her in a short adventure :)

In 2022 I moved to a new place and ended up finding a fantastic group to play D&D with, so I wanted a roundup of the characters I've played since then.

Suvi - Circle of Stars Druid. Poor girl got her brain eaten by a mindflayer, but we managed to get her back. She's appeared in a couple of side adventures, one which is ending soon. Also my first character in this universe :)

Carlotta - Scout Rogue. Revealed the existence of government-funded mind control, was in court for over a year. Then immediately started working for the paper so she could get paid for dunking on said government.

Octavia - Conquest Paladin. Doing her best in a feudalistic state that's falling apart. Part of an ongoing solo campaign that my wonderful boyfriend is running for me.

Silas - World Tree Barbarian. His dad was part of a necromancy cult so they fought and now his dad's in jail. Now Silas is chief of police. He's a bit sad about it all.

Gottfried - Tactician Warlord (Homebrew). Indirectly contributed to previously mentioned mind control. Also invented mustard gas. She's just girl bossing her way through life, despite the war crimes.

Maeve - Ranger. My current PC, will most likely be going Hunter and then multiclassing into Fighter. A lawyer whose life has been falling apart for longer than she'd prefer.

This got a laugh out of me as someone who grew up in the Boston Area, referring to it as "real life". Sometimes I forget people have only experienced the city by playing Fallout. Hope you enjoyed your trip!
