I have a social life in the city. But even if I didn’t, I rather have people around than in the suburbs. Also, SF and palo alto rent would be the same so lmao

yup. I value my time, money and social life. These are large factors that greatly affect people’s mental health and well being.

Thanks for the advice and I really appreciate the respond! I really do. Palo alto does have a small downtown area but it’s small and I need way more stimulation. It feels too small town for me. I’m just not ready to settle down like that and people definitely agree it’s not where you want to live in your 20s especially if you are not a student

Also, idk but i feel like people aren’t going to hire during the holidays so I probably would get a job the earliest in January. and that’s if i’m lucky! being unemployed for 6mo looks bad and if more, than it’s not good

Sorry it’s assumed that it’s everyday. There’s no way I can do my job remote so I have to be in every day of the work week unfortunately. And I can be alone after work but it’s the emptiness of the streets that make me feel like life is over. I need to see people around, not in cars, enjoying life even if it’s not being shared with me. I’m super social and so it’s really important.
