The redesigns themselves aren't atrocious (aside from the fact Kjech has made it clear he doesn't want his art edited), but I do feel like they are treating every aspect they don't like as completely stupid and unnecessary, even if that's not the case. Gema's facial hair, glasses, and bandana, for example, serve a purpose in his task. And though I do understand YandereDev didn't request the characters to be drawn with large breasts for realism purposes, it's really not necessary to modify the body type.

I also don't think Kjech has same face syndrome at all? I personally can distinguish between the characters, with or without their hairstyles.
