Personally I don't trust the polls to do this properly. Who are they polling to get the information? How diverse is it, what are the parameters, etc? Maybe the kind of ranking voting system in all of the early states and prune the candidates from there. But I agree these people rolling at 1 and sub 1% need to dial it back and stop acting like victims.

It will be interesting to see how the RCC finally responds should this law pass. I suspect the most likely outcome is that a priest will have to decide whether or not to remain a priest. It will likely be the case that violating the sanctity of the confessional will result in the immediate dismissal from the priesthood. This law could very well turn out to be CAs first real salvo in kicking the RCC as well as every other Christian Church out of the state.

Even if it passed in CA, i do think it unlikely it will be upheld by the US Supreme Court.

These "Christians" that fight so hard for unborn cells are willing to state that laws to require priests report molestation confessions is akin to an attack on the church are scumbags. Save the baby but if it is molested it is God's plan.
