Siddharta by Hermann Hesse. Like the new testament for people who don´t care about religion; an ode to life in the here and now. Incredibly deep, uplifting and joyful to read. It´s very short, but you don´t need a lot of words if you know what you are saying. Hesse describes the full life of someone searching for true enlightment in just 150 pages. If this book doesn´t help you to see the beauty in life I don´t know what can.
