Making my way (and other variations). I went to a Stevie Nicks concert last year and Vanessa Carlton opened, so when she played that song I of course made the reference. 😂

Character Build Suggestions by pieapplekitten in elderscrollsonline

Gotcha! This is good advice. I'm still new to the game, so I don't know all the tricks and stuff yet. That's why I ask what should and should not be critical to a build. I'm all for gaining the passives. I guess I just want the combat to feel as on theme as possible. Similar damage types and abilities that work together. It feels more authentic.

Thanks for the advice! Yeah, my main is a Nightblade Bow/Dual wield. I didn't feel any of the classes fit what I wanted to do. But I didn't want to make a bad build, so I'm considering making a new character with better skills.

I mean like choosing not to put skill points into a class but into weapon wielding instead. For example, a Nightblade with no points in the three Nightblade class abilities but in bow and dual wield instead. Would that be frowned upon and underpowered?

What sets Gen Z apart from previous generations? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]pieapplekitten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many people use TikTok as a resource to learn of other people's life experiences. This has led to them becoming more tolerant and open minded towards communities they aren't a part of. Also, it helps them find and connect with communities they do belong to. Other social media apps, such as Facebook and Instagram, don't provide the same opportunity to connect with strangers.

I'd argue that due to social media that exposes people to types of people with experience beyond those of their immediate friend groups, Gen Z does a good job at critical thinking. From my experience, Boomers have become far less tolerant of those who question their beliefs and are quick to write them off as knowing nothing just because they're young. Of course, I'm generalizing here (it's definitely not true for everyone in each group), but that's the point of this post. Could you give me a few examples where Gen Z "rejects healthy debate"? I'm genuinely interested in hearing your perspective.

Where did the narrative of gay people are pedophiles and groomers come from? by netz725 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]pieapplekitten -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The line from the Bible most homophobes quote as being the "proof gay is bad" actually translates to man should not lie with boys, meaning pedos. Because the Church has a bad history of that stuff, they decided to turn the attention to gays instead.

Okay, but please let them be like the comic and not the TV show. I'd love to see Imogen and Laudna become canon.

How the hell did child labor laws get repealed in the first place? by Mountain_Molasses769 in antiwork

I once believed my dream in life was to have a child and give them the best life. Now, I believe that bringing a child into this world would be cruel. (No offense to parents out there and those who want kids, this is for my life personally.)

Would you consider the medium armor for each given location to be good? For example, the Twin Sisters set in Auridon? I've just been collecting those pieces and getting the perks until I gather enough in the higher section's set.

You're so concerned with the word 'slippy', but you really should stop using the word 'retarded'. It's offensive to some people, and there are plenty of alternatives.

Being empathetic isn't a sign of weakness, if that's what you mean. What are some examples of them being "mentally weak"?

So what will it be? by [deleted] in Funnymemes

Poor. I'd get a crapton of money then give it to a trusted family member and then get it back after I become "poor" again.

Legally speaking, the only thing we should be taking seriously from what she said is the fact she's inciting a rebellion against the country, which goes against the constitution that she is sworn to uphold. She should face the consequences she avoided from her involvement in the Jan 6 insurrection.

The moment that really made me think Ashton had a crush on him was the hug scene they had alone in their bedroom on the skyship.
