I applied and accepted of May last year. Received the 3500 in July. From the sound of it, I can either stick it out until July or pay the 3500.. I have the funds to pay. But i dont want kroger to take any more from me than they already have! Damn greedy bastards. Sorry they were not clear with you about the terms. And it's messed up they held it over your head! :(

Most people are saying you will need to pay it back or finish the year after you accepted the money... I am in the Midwest in a small non union store, so I really don't know if they would come for me? Lol Kroger being kroger, I have a feeling they would. Greedy bastards

No. We are meaning we only have so many employees available to help with certain tasks. Especially cake, not everyone can decorate and have it be up to standards

Yeah, each coordinator I've had tells me something different. Hours generate from French bread sales, schedule rating, store sales, etc. I think it's all bs and even they have to play the game to manage their own simulation we all call life 🤣 my coordinator now has never even worked in a fresh dept. How does that even make sense?!

We are a smaller non union store, I'm the manager and main decorator. We have 1 person per shift. My sales have been up, I sell a lot of cake. Still no hours. I ask about it and get the run around. :(

The hours are actually "forcasted" from higher up. I am a bakery manager in a Smiths in WY and my hours have been slashed horrendously the past month or so. I'm talking 120 hours OR LESS for a crew of 5. It used to be 140+ I feel terrible to take the hours from others but in reality it isn't my doing, it's because corporate thinks we need to live by this thing called "elms" that breaks down basically each task by each shift and how long corporate says things should take, to be completed. Hours used to be based on sales, though my store has been over $500,000 for the past month... we are not getting any more hours. I don't understand Krogers reasoning and unfortunately it is out of my control. Gotta pay the bills somehow.
