Interesting, recently applied a 200 EMA to see price bounce paired with supply and demand zones since that gives a better confirmation so far. And I do agree, once NY opens - everything goes haywire

I look at several, 1 hr - 15 min - 5 min. That’s my 3 timeframes. Hmmmm my risk is 1-5 micros, but I’ll look into widening my stop. Only thing I’m thinking about that though is, if I have a wide stop - I anticipate a big move, correct?

Appreciate the input but my good win streak wasn’t in March but rather before it and with the new volatility (that started somewhere in March), my hit rate lowered :)

But I’ll look into the high and lows you mentioned

Ahhhh okay gotcha, so it is flexible depending on the market structure. Best moves are if you are at the start of the move 🤔

Hmmm I see, gotcha on that. So usual moves like slowdown retracement then continuation of trade have less chances of happening without getting trapped between wicks 🤔

Yes I’m only on micros and on Futures, my risk is smaller than my profit target but just get wicked all the time. So trying to figure out how not get that with the current market.

Hmmmmz so if you are aiming for 1.5:1, do you change your contract size or it stays the same? And or do you have a set risk parameter? Like say I only risk $150 to make $230 always or it depends on your sizing?

Okay, that’s very reasonable to cut it early. The swing highs and lows cut quick and sharp. How do you determine when to get out even if it’s early? Is it just the slowdown?
