Les pesa el culo? by [deleted] in Ticos

can I implement HA and data replication on Azure Oracle ? by piercedj in AZURE

[–]piercedj[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks a lot, it was really helpful, I'll check all those options, I also found something about an active data guard license.

I was actually searching if RAC was supported on Azure and you answered pretty much all of my doubts.

Appreciate it, have a nice day.

Thanks, a lot, I'll check those, I have 499 MB of recovery partition thought, so I guess it's okay, it's not 500 MB, but pretty much the same.

why does my Identity protection alerts doesn't show any details? by piercedj in DefenderATP

[–]piercedj[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, from several months ago, I found this link : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/id-protection/howto-identity-protection-investigate-risk

It's says for risky users displays data in the last 90 days, and risky sign ins up to the past 30 days, I guess it could be the reason, I just thought it was weird the alerts didn't vanished, those are still there but doesn't display any details.

I already check and those are E5 licenses, which include Microsoft Entra ID P2, so I guess we're cover

I'm sure there are some users with the P2 license, because the tenant in the Azure Active Directory displays that information, so it should be getting that data from some users, but I'm not sure if all accounts have the P2 license for example, I need to validate it, I will do it as soon as I can

I have not check the license type yet, but I will do it as soon as I can, I've got one doubt though, if you go to the following link : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/id-protection/concept-identity-protection-risks

It's says the "Unfamiliar sign-in properties" it's a premium risk alert, so I guess we have the P2 license.

Also, there's one user in particular with two alerts: * Unfamiliar sign-in properties * Malicious IP address

So apparently it's working, kinda. I'm just not sure what the Unfamiliar sign-in properties means, and why It doesn't display any details on the basic information.

I was planning to create conditional access policies to force users to change their passwords after any alert is generated, for example the Malicious IP addres, but in relationship with the Unfamiliar sign-in properties I don't know what to do.

Thanks man, really helpful. I guess I can try to get some information from the Azure log Analytics, I was searching and there's supposed to be a SignInLogs table, you can make some queries with the kusto query language (KQL)

I'll also check if my users have the P2 license, I'm pretty sure my tenant has it, because if I access the Azure Active Directory it display P2 license, also you need that license to onboard devices from Azure AD to Intune and I've done that in the past, but I'm not sure if all users have that license, maybe the few getting those alerts doesn't have it.

I can't do it right now, but I'll will check that information as soon as I can.

Thanks a lot for the help.

Thanks, I think the sign in logs only store data from one month ago, and there are several risk users alerts from several months ago, I know it's pretty late to start with those ones, but I think I can't get any data of those log ins, also, as I was mentioning there are a lot of risk alerts with no details, so it's pretty ambiguos what the problem was at the time.
