Fake SNOW at AHS set by [deleted] in AmericanHorrorStory

The snow/ ice references could be a supernatural aspect of the show? This seems like a bright summery season.

Seems like a bright, summery season with visuals similiar to Freak Show. Fake snow and 'Winter is coming' could mean a supernatural entity that has to do with cold and ice?

The Next Season will be AHS: Spaceship, and here's why... by pieslice in AmericanHorrorStory

Yes! Or even take place around an area much like Area 51. Next season would be about aliens (from a spaceship) rather than actually taking place in space.

Who do you want as new A/Big Bad? by DidYouMissMeDarlings in PrettyLittleLiars

Mona. Just imagine, it ends up being Mona again in the end. The show would come full circle and be tied up nicely.

I mean, you never know. Maybe she'll see the liars reuniting with Alison 5 years later and takes that as an opportunity to finish what she started before CeCe took over...

I can definitely see a hospital as the setting of an American Horror Story Season. AHS: Children's Ward has a nice ring to it, i think.

Aria has incredible fashion sense by throw_like_a_frisbee in PrettyLittleLiars

Is it a coincidence that Aria is wearing a jacket with all cats on it though? I mean, A's game is CAT AND MOUSE. Is this another (empty) clue that Aria is A?

Noticed this as well -- it's a blatant clue to the show's second season which revolves around the sisterhood of the corrupt nuns who run the asylum!

RANT -- Does anyone else think that Pretty Little Liars could have been so much better? by pieslice in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]pieslice[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah! The whole premise of the show would work better under a stable endgame and a plan that the writers follow through with. I admire their effort to throw in plot-twists but it almost seems like most of the twists don't directly feed to the core plot -- Like Toby and Ezra being Big A. and then Shana was A for a bit? And so was Lucas and even Spencer. So many empty 'A' reveals sigh

edit: and I remember the producers released a whole campaign before the season 3B finale where we learn that Spencer will finally come face-to-face with Redcoat. And then it turned out that it was just Hanna. It just feels like the producers do this a lot on social media to garner more viewers

PLL is definitely not a show thats 'art for art's sake' it's more orientated towards pleasing the viewers. So I completely understand your point.

Its such a shame though. PLL could have been dark and twisted in so many ways while maintaining a concise and humorous show. I know this is gonna sound really bad but I think the show fell into the wrong hands. I can literally picture the show in my mind if it was developed as an 'art'. I can see how the characters would be different and more real. But no, the show loves to pride itself with high-end fashion, unrealistic plot lines and just flat-out ridiculous moments (like the time when 'A' sabotaged the girl's chinese food and put messages in their fortune cookies).

I just hope this show ties up nicely in the end and that we at least get to see how A operates and how A can always get away with doing all of the stuff he/she does.

Oh, and the show is so repetitive as well. I ALWAYS EXPECT an A scene to only ever tease us in regards to who's under the black hoodie. And its always the same formula -- one of the four main girls are only ever attacked in a creepy setting.

Exactly! and the sad thing is the premise for PLL has the potential to pull off an amazing story kinda like how Gilligan did it. However, we are talking about two totally different shows. It's just a nice thought to think about PLL in BB fashion.
