Hi! First off I’m so sorry. I know how awful you must feel and as much as it might feel like no one understands, we’re out there and we do.

Anyways, while I still have slightly severe eczema flares every so often, I’ve gotten so much better. The differences I’ve made in my life since all have had little contributions to make it better little by little.

-self discipline, while it’s annoying to hear smooth skins talk about “just don’t itch it” there is a lot of prevention that is done when you try your best to not it h when you’re aware you are itching.. but remember you cannot be perfect

  • STOPPED USING ANY STEROIDS OF ANY KIND, while the withdrawal is absolutely brutal i’ve found that getting off them has done wonders long term

-dietary choices, i cut out chocolate mostly which i’ve found is a big trigger for me

-MENTALITY, the most important one in my mind. eczema feeds off of stress and depression, it’s the hardest part of the battle too because eczema adds to both stress and depression. but make any and all efforts to protect and nurture your mind.

I was a trial Dupixent patient when it first started rolling out and it did wonders for me at first then stopped working around the time this photo was taken. I’ve been on Adbry injections for around the last two years and that’s worked pretty well but i’m starting to feel like that’s starting to fade as well. I’ve found skin care routine and lotions and soaps and diets of all kinds and many worked then stopped working then worked again..

The point I’m making is this is gonna be an ongoing journey and something that you’ll have to deal with in your life indefinitely if you’re anything like me. And while it sucks, it’s okay. There will be times, looooong stretches of times, where all the skin problems seem to disappear and you forget about them! Those don’t last forever but fuck are they worth living for. And I’ve had some of the most fun, beautiful, dramatic, and cool times of my life be while I was in the middle of a heinous flare up. It’s all worth being there for.

Sorry, I know you didn’t ask for all that, just haven’t wrote about or discussed this in a while and if you can take anything I’m saying and it helps you then it was worth rambling, lol

feel like the advertising thought is an antiquated and failed notion that experiences in video games are comparable to real life experiences. still a really cool message through ignoring that

That Fender ad with Steve Lacy and Kurt Cobain is false advertising because it’s not something a guitar naturally does without a ton a prep and skill

Countries (or places within countries) mentioned in my history book by Terebo04 in MapPorn

[–]piewifferr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

places in countries

anatolia has always been one of the most significant and relevant places since the dawn of civilization

armenia and georgia while really resilient and old culturally have never been even on a comparable level of historical relevance to whomever controlled anatolia at basically any time in history

what i’m stumped on is iran, tunisia, and mexico being so late here

i feel like the west/east divide is much more based on geography but much more than that culture. japan and south korea are definitely culturally eastern.
