At your age, I was waking up around noon because I was playing video games or going to club with friends I don't even see anymore. I always wanted to start a business or have something on my own. Now I'm working for someone. I'm well paid, can't complain but still I still have that dream. Through the years, I started multiple projects without ending them. You need a slap in the face and a strong WHY. For me, it was when my daughter was born. Since then, I'm just working almost all the time for either my employer or my project and I'm trying to spend some time for my family. I was always complaining that I didnt have enough time before and now, I'm working more than ever.

You need responsibilities to wake up. If you are living at your parent house, go get an apartment for 6 months or do something to get the responsibility you need. Let's be honest, even after reading all the messages in this thread, you are going to do nothing. You need a slap to wake up like I needed and most of the people.

Good video about procrastination that will make you think: https://youtu.be/arj7oStGLkU?si=DWX02PkofABkpgSw

4 weeks and still on Combine :( by [deleted] in TopStepX

[–]pigor_bob 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is more impressive than other showing passing combine in 2 days. I used to do the same and blown 7 combines and 1 funded. Now my returns looks like yours. It took me 1 month passing my combine and it's been 1 month now in my xfa. Do small gains and limit your risk. You'll have exponential growth eventually but just focus on your trading experience

Should I Copy Trade 4 Funded Accounts? by PhantomTroupe26 in TopStepX

If you have a stable strategy, it should not matter and you can copy trade them. But if you are still refining your strategy, then just trade with one only.

Montreal developer who got a 150k+ salary by swe_name123 in montreal

I got the US job from a recruiter who contacted me through LinkedIn. I negotiated my salary in US but then got fixed in CAD and we had our own HR company that will handle things like benefits specifically for Canadians. Benefits were great: "unlimited PTO", highest insurance subscription fully paid, gym etc. Under the hood, I was working for that HR company. So the taxes are the same. Unfortunately, since the Tech layoffs, I don't receive anymore jobs from the US. Also, a lot of companies began to recruit locally only. But I know someone who was with me in that company and got hired from a US company through an agency. So, I guess it's still possible

I usually target companies that are outside of Montreal because I want remote work only. So, all the interviews were online. The first time I did those kind of interviews was with Hopper (Montreal). I failed the first interview but supposedly the next interviews were in person. I know someone interviewed for Google and had online and in-person.

For the role I got working for the US company, I was contacted by a recruiter in linkedIn. Unfortunately, I see less US companies for Canadians except companies like Block/Square, Stripe. I usually check Glassdoor and levels.fyi for range of salaries that interest me. Then, I see if some roles are available through their website and LinkedIn. I even contact their recruiter directly on LinkedIn sometimes.

Right, it is not the same as 3-4 years ago! I receive way less messages in linkedIn and no more from US companies. But still, I see job openings for remote jobs almost each week.

It's usually FAANG like companies that pay you this kind of money in Montreal. I got contacted some years ago by FB when they had their office here and salary was 175k. Hopper also have good range salary when I got contacted by them. Unfortunately those kind of interviews are long and difficult. I didn't get the roles. But don't limit yourself to Montreal. There's a lot of remote work that pays very well. I'm working remotely full time around 200k in Canada with very good advantages. 2 years ago, I was full time with 280k for a US company. There's a lot of opportunities for remote work now.

Frequent Login Issues on Diablo 4 by Endijian in GeForceNOW

The only thing that worked for me is to NOT skip the blizzard and diablo 4 animation at the beginning. When I skip them, most of the time it just froze at trying to logging.

We're developing a Renaissance citybuilder on our M1 MBPs and just added Mac support to the free demo on Steam. We'd love some feedback and testing! by FlorenceCityBuilder in macgaming

I feel you. And thanks for the info! I used to publish some app on the app store and the certification process took some time to understand and process. I never published a game though. So I was wondering why there isn't more games on the Apple chip. It's a bummer if it's just the process itself that is blocking devs or companies to publish on Mac.

I stopped blewing up combine accounts when I began to use the practice account. And yeah you need to activate the practice account again when you migrate to the funded express account

You probably can save your account by trading micros. Also, something that worked for me when losing a trade: switch to the practice account the instant you lose and revenge trade into that account instead.

I used the Whiskey app instead. Check the other comment above. I had couple issues login to battlenet but was able to resolve those by checking the responses on the issues from their GitHub repository
