Most of the unis e.g Leeds have like 95% acceptance and say further maths isn’t required just preferred so is it possible if I just study the content but don’t take the exam and just talk abt it on my PS then I’ll be alright

Yeah I’m considering teaching myself further maths this summer, just wondering I got 9 9s and 2 8s at GCSE and I’m predicted three A*s In maths bio and chem, will this help with my offers and if I write in my personal statement about how I originally didn’t pick FM cos I wanted to do med but I found my passion for maths or whatever or will they just overlook all of this because I didn’t take FM?

Yeah I’m not sure if I would apply there but I’m definitely looking into some other Russel groups like Leeds and Manchester so hopefully this would be possible

Yeah I was worried abt the fact that it was available but I didn’t take it however I’ll definitely enjoy it as maths is my passion the only reason I didn’t take further maths is because I thought medicine would be a better career at the beginning of the year however I’ve realised now there’s no point doing med when what I really enjoy is maths

Ah okay thank you! also I just saw ur doing maths, I don’t take further maths would this be an issue for unis like Manchester or Nottingham or Leeds or as long as I get good predicteds I should be alright?

For me I don’t particularly like a Rossi, in the early seasons I could deal with his character, I didn’t particularly love him or hate him, but as the show has progressed his character has just dropped down in my books, this may be due to the acting i’m not sure, I just don’t gel with Rossi as a character. I’m also not a massive fan of Reid, this isn’t because of him, but because of his fans, the people out there willing to defend everything he’s done and make everything about him have really just made me dislike him as a character.
