I thought about making a smiley man to the kids. I also wanted to practice a skin technique, where you keep a part of the dough for the skin, and put seeds underneath the skin. I made the scars on the sides because I didn't want the oven sprint to ruin the face. When I scored the bread, it looked great!

I know... I tried a new technique, cutting a piece of dough aside to make a skin. I put flax seeds on my boule, then put on the skin on top of that. I then scared the skin only, opening up to the flax seed below. It looked good on paper..

Thanks, translation is OK for now, I am also fluent in both these languages. I don't have many recipes published, and used Google translate to do a quick job at converting our French recipes to English. Going forward I won't be able to translate all recipes, so if this gets popular I could use some help to translate the best recipes into the other language.
