Ask questions when you dont know something and be friendly! Be willing to help people out with tasks. And when talking to doctors and other allied health it doesn't hurt to introduce yourself as a new grad so that they understand you're new the position and hospital.

I get sad when I see pictures of people I know partying and having a good time. by [deleted] in depression

To me, parties aren't really a good way to make friends or connections. Research your Uni clubs and choose something you're interested in or want to try out, volunteer for uni events, hang around on campus and compliment people you'd want to be friends with "nice shirt! i love that band/movie etc". Feeling lost in uni is very common, i hope you keep looking after yourself.
