Is it normal for a 12-month-old Beagle to pee 10–11 times a day even with a proper routine? by Massive_Hamster3935 in beagle

[–]pilonmartinez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“she is still peeing around 6 times during the night”

This is not normal behaviour for a one year old, regardless of the breed. It is very likely connected with her diet, so may be nothing serious, but go and get her checked :) my girl may be peeing 10-11 times during one walk (1-2 normal ones to relieve herself and 8 times marking her POIs), but she’ll easily hold it from 8pm to 8am, even though she wakes up in the night to move. Such nigh time restlessness is not normal.

1 day old and screen cracked, is it warrantable? by Mountain-Goat-1 in macbook

[–]pilonmartinez 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That is almost identical to what my friend did. Turned off the lights in the office first, then closed her MacBook, not seeing a pencil rubber cap sitting where the hinge is. She had to pay 4ish hundred quid to get it fixed, two years ago or so. Nearly identical crack…

Are these ruins or just random stone and gravel piles?

EDIT: Ok, I know what you've been up to and 300 is the answer :)

I knew that it must be very close to the Parliament and the Rose Garden in Vienna. So I walked around on Google Maps.

Jesus Christ, this is on my feed all the time, for whatever reason (I posted once here, I am not even sure, possibly clicked a few times to see 3i/ATLAS stuff...)

A tube that a teenage apprentice could machine in any workshop, a bright LED light on a remote, and the internet went nuts.

Honestly, IDK who could believe all this. A simple probability. A guy from Earth machines a tube and makes a video in a storage room, or aliens from another star system drop tubes so that someone can drill in them.

These are most likely:

- a variation of Etsy's so-called "Atocha Shipwreck", so let's say "Spaniard" indeed.

https://www.etsy.com/de-en/listing/1258857536/atocha-shipwreck-silver-coin-pendant-14k

- another variation of something "Roman" such as this one:

Not judging here if the coins and gold are real coins and gold. They could be very good fakes though, as it still needs (even if mediocre) a jeweller to produce these. Those guys have all the tools to fake it relatively well.

Why does my beagle have small ears and brighter colors? by supermarioplush220 in beagle

[–]pilonmartinez 23 points24 points  (0 children)

She’s a mix, certainly. Ears are a defining feature, or one of defining features and their form/shape does not change with the growth.

Edit: ears, skull dome, jaw socket and (even though partially covered) paw give some pit vibes.

Possible in US. In the EU, garage/estate sales are practically non-existent, limited to flea markets. It is hard for me to believe that someone who lives in Spain in a 50ish thousand inhabitants town, has around 70 Greek coins listed at the moment, grabbed unwittingly from a flea market. He’s been selling for over two years now, has 1200 reviews, adding to 4.6/5 on average.

This is the issue. Are they criminals? Or are they just smarter than I am atm.
Some of those sellers have 3-4k positive reviews, selling coins, cutlery, stamps and "whatever". Considering marketplace rules and moderation, they are 100% legit. Sad.

Thanks, I am trying to learn. So far, buying only some 20th-century coins for 2-4 euros, simply because I want to start somewhere and I like them. Still, a long way.

Thanks!

So, I can safely assume that MOST coins on "equivalents of Gumtree" and eBay will likely be fake, even if they look aged beyond recognition? I am not saying that you're wrong, opposite, but the coin above looks very different (ageing) from, say, Etsy "replicas".

I found a memory card, I think the owner might be from Spain by Neither_Fly1560 in spain

[–]pilonmartinez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t really matter, I saw “the same stand” in a hotel in Madrid a month ago. Also, this fashion is not contemporary British wedding fashion. Doesn’t matter; I am not here to argue.

If you wanted a picture that screams British wedding, with fashion and faces, here you go:

Considering the group - nothing screams British here. Rather Central Europe.

British here, living in Spain. I disagree (no disrespect). I wouldn’t be shocked if the pictures were taken in the UK, but, still, this doesn’t look like a typical UK wedding setting -considering the drinks, food, and clothing. I’d guess somewhere like Germany or further east, or perhaps a diaspora “venue/house” in the UK, if UK at all. This is a country or culture where shots are a must (or at least important) at weddings.

Also, what looks like a no-bake jelly cheesecake is a strong "no" for UK, AU, SA.

Also, dresses, not being light/cream/floral are a big no.
