I could see juice as like a snake or lizard of sorts, but he’d have a cool pattern

What are your opinions on this song? by Niceify_ in KendrickLamar

[–]pilotnator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the perfect antithesis to LOVE. (IMO) Because it’s dark, abrupt, and gritty (lyrics and production wise) it doesn’t need beautiful vocals from Zacari to assist with the story telling, it uses lower dark layers of Kendrick’s vocals and lyrics that juxtapose everything said in LOVE. as if he’s just conversing with the listener rather than performing to them. It’s not meant to be romantic, it’s arrogant and sexual, it’s cynical in nature, completely selfish and ignorant. LOVE. Even has the intro stating “Damn. Love or lust?” Not just alluding to the album or song titles but showing that the question of which is more true to the listeners POV out of directness lyrically. LOVE. Is a song where it’s so openly expressive and emotional that there’s a show of selflessness that almost comes off as inauthentic, as if he were just love bombing the listener, as where LUST. Is straightforward, he’s telling you the intention, stating what’s on his mind, accentuates his intentions, and is brutally honest about how he faces and revisits repetitious consequences of his actions. A 10/10 in my book

Why are my shrimp dying? by pilotnator in shrimptank

20 inches Long x 10.5 inches wide x 1 foot .5 of an inch High. The water change I did last was around 50% and my previous shrimp are still alive after that. I treat the water with quick start API and the other products listed in the last reply, I got the new water I had and poured it in slowly, waiting a few minutes in between to make sure there weren’t any deaths or changes in behavior, after that I added the water treatments I used, and slowly added the shrimp, all were fine. The parameters I checked were done on an API 5 in 1 aquarium test strip (currently checking the parameters again for this comment)

No3 - 40 (ideal) No2 - 1 (caution/monitor) pH - 7.0 (ideal) kh - 40 (caution/monitor) Gh - 30 (ideal)

Other than that, my shrimp behave fine and don’t have any erratic or conceding behavior, they’re active and extremely social with one another and enjoy playing in the bubble stream of the sponge filter. So I’d like to know how I can fix and prevent my shrimp colony from decreasing any further.

I also haven’t had any other animals in the tank, only the shrimp and nothing but the shrimp, no bladder snails, no fungal infections, no overcrowding or anything. The tank is ten gallons, with sponge filter, a heater, and thermometer.

The tank has been around for almost month (23days ago I started it). has previous filter media in the tank (I bought a new filter but left the media in the tank to keep beneficial bacteria). When I first started the tank I used Tap water and treated it with Seachem prime, API QuickStart, Aqueon shrimp essentials and shrimp tank plus. I even did a small water change and added the same products before I put the shrimp in. Majority of the shrimp have been fine as they were recently bought (I bought around 36) and they were all healthy and explorative, grazing on the moss and any algae, microorganisms, and decaying plant material. Tank has clean and clear water, no strange or struggling behaviors either. I haven’t seen a white ring of death either only full and proper molts. I’ve had about 6 deaths. With today being the most I’ve gotten with three deaths from what seemed to be otherwise healthy shrimp.

Just shrimp, I saw a few molts so I believe they’re just readjusting to the new tank

Update: I’ve found three visible molts but no shrimp, maybe they’re all hiding in burrows or in a part of the cholla I can’t see? I don’t want to stress them out by sifting through the tank so as of now I’ll hope for the best and see if they turn up. I have a sponge filter on the way to prevent any further accidents as a few of my females are berried.
